This double storey rear extension shell project in Aughton significantly increased the living space of the property, providing the homeowners with the foundations for a larger and more versatile family home. Working from the approved plans, we carried out all structural and building works required to construct the extension shell, creating substantial additional space across both ground and first floor levels.

The project included the excavation and installation of foundations, drainage works, construction of external walls, structural steelwork, first floor structure, and the complete roof installation. Openings were formed to connect the new extension seamlessly with the existing property, while all works were completed in accordance with current building regulations and approved specifications.

Careful attention was paid to ensuring the new structure complemented the existing house, with matching materials and detailing used throughout the build. The completed shell now provides a watertight and structurally complete extension, ready for the client’s chosen internal fit out and finishing works.
